Dave works in Rome as the official EATA exam moderator - July 2011

  • YTCi International Summer Conference July 23 - 26th 2012 the second annual summer YTCi summer conference in the beautiful Romanian Transylvanian mountains... watch out for the bears and of course Dracula whose castle will not be far away!
  • YTCi - "Yorkshire Training Centre International" - This is now a legal company in Romania with Dave as the Director -
    • There is a hugely successful training and psychotherapy programme in Bucharest and Timisoara. Dave and Uta and other international trainers are providing ongoing and regular supervision for many of trainees from Romania as well as seeing individual clients using Skype.
    • Dave is running two psychotherapy groups in Bucharest which meet 4 times a year.
    • The training programme in Bucharest is two foundation groups and an advanced group -
    • There are plans for two advanced groups in 2012.
    • The foundation groups in Romania run for 2 years with 16 modules.
    • In  Timisoara YTCi is running a foundation course and an advanced group.

  • New venue for all TA training by YTCi - the plans are for all the UK training programmes to now run in the heart of Leeds.

TA Coaching: Visit www.ta-coaching.co.uk  - This site highlights the work Uta does in the counselling field of Transactional Analysis which covers TA coaching and TA counselling... Including training and supervision of coaches and counsellors.

Uta's book is now selling well and about to have its second print run!...

TA “101” introduction to Transactional Analysis covering all the core TA concepts.

Dates in 2012 - March 5 / 6th & October 8 / 9th   

The 101 course is to be followed by a Foundation Course in Transactional Analysis:  

The TA foundation course will be the perfect follow on from the 101 course... 9 further modules covering the basic TA concepts and their application to practice. The next course commences in November - contact Dave to join this - If you have not done the 101 course it is still possible to join and to attend the 101 course in March.

Ongoing TA Training Group in Leeds -

This group meets for 18 training days / year.

Exam Preparation:

  1. Written CTA examinations: Dave will be happy to read through your written exam providing feed back using EATA examinations scales, the cost of this is normally £300, covering the reading and written and verbal feedback . There may need to be additional  supervision needed.

  2. Oral CTA examinations: Dave and Uta run regular exam preparation days. We are also ready to run additional exam mocks... contact us to discuss your requirements. You can also visit our ongoing supervision groups to run a mock exam with our regular supervisees who also are preparing for their exams... they normally welcome this opportunity to work with visiting trainees.

  3. TEW / TSTA mocks and preparation: We are happy for you to join with us either in the regular training days, or CTA exam prep days to prepare for your TEW and TSTA examinations... We also regularly have TSTA's visit our ongoing supervision groups to prepare for their supervision exam. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

International Professional Development Workshops:

Meeting 3 times a year there is a group for PTSTA's and exam prep: These workshops are for ongoing personal and professional development including theoretical input and discussions, supervision and a great opportunity to prepare for the CTA, TEW, and TSTA examinations. If you have specific topics you wish us to discuss email us and we will include it in the agenda.

These workshops are now well established... however they are run in Germany: Schwabach is a beautiful small market town about 15k from Nuremberg... so if you are planning to go for your exam then it is quite possible to combine preparation and fun with a holiday in this interesting and lovely area. Supervision for psychotherapists, counsellors and coaches:

Both Dave and Uta have space available for supervision of professional development / psychotherapy / counselling / coaching work.

We are available to offer supervision online using Skype... Distance and where you are based is therefore not an issue.

Ian Stewart, (Exam Supervisor), Dave Spenceley (EATA Supervising Examiner), Marco Mazzetti (Chair of the Commission of Certification) at the Edinburgh TA examinations in July 2005.
