Psychotherapy training is a professional training, covering all the areas needed to become a competent psychotherapist. Leading to qualification as a Certified Transactional Analyst and registration by the: UKCP and EAP as a Registered TA Psychotherapist

If you do not wish to complete the psychotherapy training through to examination and registration you will also be welcomed in the group. Many people use the training group to develop their professional and personal lives using TA... This is welcomed at YTC.

The training takes place in a professional and friendly environment. Dave Spenceley TSTA a very experienced international trainer is the group leader and course director, he is  present at each of the training weekends.

The requirements for training are set externally, by the UKCP and European Association of Transactional Analysis, so please email Dave for further details after reading the details of TA psychotherapy training programme

  •  The format we use at  YTC is unique: We run the group for 3 days on alternate months. (meeting Friday - Sunday)

  •  Providing 138 hours of training a year; this format maximizes use of your time in the group.

  • You can join the group at any one of the weekends for a minimum period of one year. (This is important as it means you can join the group when you are ready rather than waiting for the next academic year. )

Exam Preparation:
