TA is a powerful and creative tool which can be used to facilitate change and personal and professional development... I trust these notes will provide you with a helpful and useable resource!  I am a psychotherapist, trainer and supervisor and this is reflected in these note... TA is widely used throughout the world in psychotherapy, counselling, educational and organizational settings.

At times the notes are more detailed than would normally be expected for a 101... this again reflects both my own interests and the normal audience groups for the 101's I have run over the years. I will be happy for you to print out and to use the notes as you wish.... I would only request that you leave the references to this site on the notes...

I will also be happy for you to contact me with any questions you may have about TA, it's application and it's practice... TA training, therapy or supervision.

To go onto advanced training in TA you need to gain a 101 certificate, one way of achieving this is to answer the questions in what is called the 101 exam...  If you complete these questions, I will be happy to mark them and if they are of a a passing standard you will be awarded a 101 certificate. (Note a small and standard fee is charged for this service...)

These notes are my interpretation of standard texts and theories, throughout I have attempted to give references to the original authors and developers of the theory. My apologies for any errors or oversights ... My expectation is that I will go on revising and updating these notes as time passes... so let me know of any revisions you would like me to make... I would also be delighted to receive any positive comments you might wish to make....  See the pages on asking for positive strokes.

The next 101 course is in Brighouse West Yorkshire: Dates of next courses:November 15 / 16th.
